Hi everyone
Here are a few photographs that I hope will make you  ;D

I love my Greyface Dartmoors they are such laid- back characters and are lambing well. I will hopefully be showing some sheep at local shows and I like the look of this little chap he is really stocky with a big personality!

We also have lots of these running about----Lincoln longwools

The Shropshire sheep --
They are easier to look after than the longwools and do very well on our marshland.

and finally a picture of the first of the commerical sheep to lamb they all ran with Shropshire rams.

Tilly ;D ;D ;D

They're all lovely - but the second photo is just gorgeous. You should call him George.  ;D

Oh they are so cute.  The second one looks like you have just bought him from a toy shop. :) I love him.

I've got a furry toy rabbit (called Pal) that looks just like that second lamb  :bunny: :sheep:

Cinderhills---- Talking of toys--

He was made from Dartmoor Wool. The Greyface Dartmoor Lambs are traditionally shorn out in July and that was the wool I used.

All done with a felting needle. I had never done any wool felting before and he was my first project I was amazed how the barbs on the felting needle bind the wool fibres together and form a hard but flexible structure.

Here he is in the earlier stages of making ---

I should have put this on the craft section --

I would be interested too...

Tilly I crossed a commercial ewe with a ryeland ram and what fantastic lambs I got should make some good meat.

Hi ellisr

We have not got any Ryelands but they really appeal to me particularly the black ones!      ----- (I wonder what they would produce if crossed with the Dartmoors :sheep: :o)

as for selling the felted animals -----I am sure there is a market for them as you can do individual "one off`s", to order--- repilcating perhaps someones favourite pet. I`m  affraid I just give mine away as gifts.

I would give it a go with the dartmoor as they are very similar to the ryelands in many ways
