can I get weaners in April?
« on: January 31, 2011, 12:10:43 pm »
I have just had a great offer for 4 Boars (Black x welsh) who are 12 weeks old. This means we would only have them a couple of months and i was wondering if there would be any chance to be able to raise another batch of weaners (we have our heart set on sandy and blacks), starting in April or May running through until the summer. Can you let me know if there are likely to be any weaners available at that time?

It's worth contacting your local breeder and putting your name down for some that will be ready when you want them.

Like many breeders, we breed all year round, so yes you should be able to get weaners somewheer local to you (where are you?)

You may need to book them now, many get booked quite early for March/April.
