Black leg hens

 :chook:We are wanting to rear French black leg chicken as table birds but cannot find a breeder/supplier in the UK. Has anyone reared these chicken or know of a breeder? Look forward to hearing from you.

My chickens have white legs - but they still taste pretty good ;D

if its the "poulet noir" you're thinking ... it looks like a "Translyvanian (or Hungarian) Naked Neck"
We have had one, randy little s*d so he became our first ever home raised tandoori chicken!
Ate it today, just the legs left for tomorrow.    :yum:  :o
....delicious! 
and when it was hanging, the long turkey - like wattles covered its eyes so it wasnt quite so gross, and it was easier with having no neck feathers

Ive seen naked necks but dont think I have seen black ones here
