Pigglers!
« on: February 10, 2011, 03:03:27 pm »
My Dahlia GOS sow produced 8 beautiful piglets last night.  She was an absoulte trooper and it was all over and done with inside 2hrs! Though I have to say she is the most bizarre pig when farrowing, she hardly ever lies down like my other sows and she even had two of them standing up.  :o Once she's had them she settles to let them feed. Still, mother and babies are doing very well. 5 gilts and 3 boars. I'm, very happy!

Photos when I can!
