Newbie Feed question
« on: November 30, 2023, 07:44:48 am »
 :farmer:
I’m currently feeding my 6 pet sheep hay on a daily basis which they are happily eating plus they have access to a 2 acre grass meadow. Have free access to a sheep lick. Should I be feeding any additional feed? I have some ewe nuts and sheep feed mix to use but don’t want to give any unnecessary feed. The sheep are in good condition currently but I’m mindful of cold weather and giving them the correct nutrition.

Since they are pets and not under stress  ( pregnant ) then they should be fine with no  nuts ,

Yes as shep says if they aren’t in lamb a mineral lick and hay will be fine.
