The 4 that didn’t lamb last year got massive (fleece and fat) with not lambing last year.

My tups get nothing but grass really, maybe an energy bucket if I’m feeling flush. But they have plenty of grass to go at over the winter, as the cattle are housed so the sheep get the run of the farm.

Dad has done a bit of grain every 2-3 days so definitely not overkill.

I need to pull out some more hay as the bale seems too tight for them to get at.

Just discovered ‘The Sheep Game’ on YT and he misjudged his ration on his mule ewes and the lambs were MASSIVE. Like primary age children 🥴

Just to update, judging by vast majority starting to get bags we are on course for February lambing.

Think he must have acted as a teaser and cracked on, I might have 1-2 empty by looking at them which is fine.
