We noticed one of the sheep was limping on Monday when we were one down.

Vet was here, gave us some Terramycin and said just observe see how she goes, didn’t have him to look at her as didn’t think we’d catch her.

Got a look at her and could see she wasn’t putting her back leg down much. Looked at hooves and they looked untidy/overgrown so gave them a trim and blue sprayed her.

She is still eating and sometimes with the herd but is clearly struggling. Just had a closer inspection and the front of her hoof wall is a bit split. I’ve blue sprayed it.

It’s not foot rot, we thought maybe scald. But what do I do? She’s sat alone at times and wandering but not far. Grounds not waterlogged but we have had rain.

Vet again?

If the wall is split likely some bacteria has caused infection inside the foot, so yes I’d get the vet again. If blue spray doesn’t fix it in a couple of days I tend to give some antibiotics and pain relief.
