if anyone has split handles on the tugtub buckets -  can cut them with scissors to make low water/feeders for poultry.

easy way to carry hay/haylage out to sheep etc is put it in black dustbin(sticky-out handle type) and carry it on your back, and if its windy, u can put the lids on to stop the hay disappearing down road.

Smart ideas! I have lost the handles on three of my trugs.

as kids when we still had baler twine on our bales( not anymore but great stuff) we use to make our own haynets, and leadropes - never even used clip, just made loop and one end and threaded thru.

anymore money saving tips??
