Hello Everyone,

We currently use GENUS for AI who are great, and I normally get my Red Ruby Devon straws from them, however they only have one bull on their system. We are now serving his daughters so i did buy three straws through Cogent who sent them over to GENUS which seemed a really expensive way of doing things.

Have any of you sourced straws from elsewhere?
Did you purchase them from the breeder and then get them to send them to GENUS?
How does it work?
How much did it cost you?

Any help appreciated! Many thanks!

Have you tried RBST or our breed society?

Transporting straws from A to B has become really expensive this last year, so you could reduce the costs by choosing several males now for the next few years (all from the same place) and then transport in one go and pay storage fees....

Been hit by it for my goat straws as well...
