Wildflower area maintenance
« on: November 17, 2022, 01:08:33 pm »
Hi all
I had an area of ground outside my fence along the roadside cleared of weeds and planted with wildflowers, tom thumbs, poppies, bulbs, and a few perennials.

I asked the chap who mows a piece of grass for me to strim it down to about 6/7 inches earlier this month, as he knows where the perennials are, but personal circumstances have meant he hasn't been able to do it yet, and the weather has been too wet anyway.  How late can he leave it?
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
