hiya, i noticed in your reply about the Welsummer cockeral that you posted a picture of your hens with a waterbutt/drinker. Can you tell me how you made this ???? or is it one you bought.  Looks clever!!

Hi Emma,  Flattery will get you everywhere!  ;D

Try here for some more pics and details. You might want to wait until the spring though - I had some success by putting a hot water bottle underneath the drinking cup, but it was impossible to keep thawed in these temperatures.
