« on: December 08, 2010, 01:58:12 pm »
J.A.R.M Farm are running days which you can interact and experience lambing and also learn basic skill on how to look after sheep.
Arrive at 9.30am and finish around 4.30 *(Lunch included).
If you're thinking of keeping sheep this one day course will be going through the basic upkeep of sheep. We will cover Foot trimming, Breeds of sheep, drenching, stockbreeding, flysrike, lambing and much more. We have 8 breeds of sheep on the farm which are all due to lamb over April. We have 125-175 ewes due to lamb this month. So hopefully you will see a ewe give birth and even may have to put your training to practice!!!
Course Dates are 9th-10th April and 16th-17th April(Both weekends)
£75 per person or 2+ £65 each. Please book in advance. Check are website for more information or email.
