Hi Folks,
Does anybody have a good idea how to feed molasses tubs to goats? I've had this great idea to take the lid off a tub and put it into the hay rack, with the opening towards the wire mesh. It worked for about a week with thei girls licking through the mesh, but the molasses slowly made it's way out of the bucket to build some very impressive stalagtites hangning down the hay rack. Goats love it and really got stuck into the stuff, got molasses all over their face - my lovely white Saanen like a big sticky toffee pudding (smell is not bad....). Oh yes - I did try to feed that stuff because it has a good proportion of garlic in it, which (supposedly) keeps the flies away. Sticky toffee over the face is somehow not the solution I was after... Ideas?
