Geese laying

Had a big shock this morning when cleaning out the geese stable to find 2 eggs!

This is the first year ive had geese and up to now had no eggs and wasnt expecting any until next year,are anyone elses laying?

its not completley unusual they get confused with the ammount of light and think its spring again mine were layin up til christmas last year (from sept) enjoy em cant beat a scrambled goose egg in winter mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

my embden geese used to start laying in february, but didnt go broody til march / april.
