Has anyone heard of, or experience of Environment Bank?

https://environmentbank.com/landowners/habitat-bank-creation-how-it-works

I have no experience of applying for or receiving funding and I'm naturally a bit cautious."Beware of the Greeks, even when they come bearing gifts......" and all that.

Essentially what am I giving up in exchange for financial reward? Are there pitfalls or better alternatives?

Thanks in advance

If it looks too good to be true it probably is.  Income £27K per hectare????

Putting aside whether it is legitimate it makes a lot of sense to increase biodiversity in under productive areas rather than taking good land out of production. I think it is worth investigating. Farmers Weekly had the following article.

That is an advertisement not an article - it's almost what is on their website.  It may be a good concept but it needs a lot of checking up on in my opinion

That is a fair point doganjo about the piece in FG. Any potential business proposition needs thoroughly investigating and I think we all agree on that.
