Hello everyone!     Just found this site looking for someone with excess goat milk in Aberdeenshire  :goat:- still trying to work out why I can't message the local person who posted about that locally .  Had dreams once upon a time of running a smallholding or at least adapting our large garden to accommodate some feathered friends, but ill health nipped it in the bud.  :(  Now the garden is gone wild!  Looking to attract wildlife, birds, bees etc without a huge effort and doing well so far, but love to read what others are able to accomplish with animals and crops.  Wonderful goings on.  Thanks and hello to everyone here.

Welcome old Goat, too far to help with the milk, hope you hear something soon.
My garden has gone a bit wild as well, and I look for pollinator friendly plants, mostly in pots till I can clear a space (when hubs shifts some more junk (apparently valuable scrap) ;D

Hello and welcome.
Bad luck about the ill health - it gets us when we least expect it  :(  Enjoy your new 'rewilded' garden - weeds are flowers too and the bees prefer wild flowers to domestic ones.

Hi Old Goat and welcome to the forum. I, too, have a garden - not huge but it gave me room for fruit and veg and my goats. Sadly, disability hit and I eventually had to give up keeping my girls but am still doing the growing thanks to the tall raised beds I had built.
