Videos or channel of rural skills?
« on: November 11, 2021, 02:02:54 pm »
We’ve given up our tv license because most tv and it’s associated adverts is nonsense that wastes time
My boys and I are enjoying Victorian Farm on Amazon now that the evenings are drawing in. This has generated lots of talk and plans about of walling, ferreting, livestock, repointing the stone shed and oak basketry.

We will watch things on YouTube, normally videos by skilled people  who are answering a question for us: like can I keep chillis through the winter?
But I get annoyed with the dross and adverts on YouTube as well, especially when it’s for some horror movie or violent game as my boys are only 4 & 7.

Does anyone know of any “rural skills” online channels/websites where we can sometimes watch people doing and explaining these sorts of things? Thanks in advance.

Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age
