We've finally caught up with the 21st century and now have pretty URLs on the forum.

What does this mean for the average user? Not much! But if you're observant or a geek you might notice that links that we previously things like index.php?board=1 are now /forum/coffee-lounge/

Why has this been done? Several reasons, but primarily because we're introducing non-tracking analytics on the forum (no more Google cookies), and these new URLs make it easier for us to see what's popular.

They are also much more resilient technically - if the underlying forum data changes we can keep the board, topic and post URLs the same without anyone noticing.

There may be the odd error caused by this change - if you notice any unusual behaviour or can't get somewhere, please email dan@tas.re or message me.

There are more changes in the pipeline, including making it a bit easier on the eye, and usable on phones and tablets. As ever if you have a suggestion for an improvement please let us know, and as ever thank you for being such a lovely group of folk.
