Bottles - help!
« on: November 10, 2010, 12:38:57 pm »
Anyone know where I can get empty wine bottles in Clackmannan area - I have a gallon of wine ready to bottle and only two screw tops from my daughter.  Tried freegle/freecycle with no joy!
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Maybe you coud pop down to a few of the places where the glass recycle bins are and see if any placed on floor (sometimes done when the recycle bins are full) or if you are in luck someone might be about to pop some in there.

Now that wine WAS nice Anne, we want to make some now but we need some home brew kit, one of those glass air locks, and maybe another jar, we have one but could do with another. We may make some nettle beer   ::) ::) ::) So, where can we buy that sort of stuff other than E Bay!!

Why not Ebay?  That's where I got mine - a complete kit, all you need for about £28
