Hello Steve,
Welcome to the forum - you'll get loads of advice ! It's worth reading all the old pig questions for a start.
I'd also recommend 'Starting with Pigs' by Andy Case - it's a great book that covers everything. The Rare Breeds survival trust is a good place for info too and once you've decided what breeds most of them have an association website, so tonnes more info on there.
Good luck & let us know how you get on.

Welcome from Normandy also!  The pig section on here has loads of information so worth spending some time going through it - you will also find info on probably everything you need to know to start you off. Just take in a beer and enjoy!!

Although at your age doubt you would want the breast firming cream.  Welcome, its a great forum

Thank you for such a warm welcome. i have some experience in farm work and have been driving tractors since i was big enough to reach the pedels im thinking of keeping and maybe breeding some tamworths since theyre a sort of local breed also some chickens and my mum wants some ducks i dont know how the neighbours will take to all this and im abit worried about the locals with the animals and the veggies the local alotment has been trashed a few times. i think there will be a bit of cider making going on me and my older brother are very keen on that aspect!
                     cheer steve
