Orchards - training in central Scotland

Carse of Gowrie Orchards Project is organising training for folk interested in planting new or restoring old orchards. Courses are free for people resident on the Carse and about £15 for others.

21st November Winter Pruning 1/2 day
28th November Restorative Pruning of mature and ancient fruit trees
12th Feb Winter Pruning
12th March Planting a new orchard
19th March Bench grafting workshop
Courses take place around the Carse of Gowrie
Booking should be made direct with Andrew Lear, the course leader at www.plantswithpurpose.co.uk
