doing hen head count at night, might look a d*** but hey ho, they are practical.

Chickens can be so judgemental; they often gafaw at me and my headtorch wearing.  Usually get a snigger out of the ponies too...

Almost every torch we found last night, including our head torch was out of batteries!
So I am now back from focus with batteries, a 3 pack of small 9 LED torches and a 1 million candle spotlight type torch which is rechargable ;D
Looking forward to chook hunting tonight! (Just joking) but I am looking forward to seeing how well these new torches perform in darkness.

make sure you charge the spotlight well as 1 i used to have last 6 mths as the 1st charge was only 12 hrs  max and i should of left it on longer as if its not kept tip top i found thebattery was crap and died quicker each time i used it
