I DO wish I'd gone ahead and got mine last year - but hopefully I'll have it by Christmas.  Icy blasts here too when i was out with the woggies.
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

Did you ever stop to think, and forget to start again !!

We've turned the 10'' trampoline upside down as it happened before that it landed an inch from my car after a journey of 20 meters. This minute we are in the quiet zone between the storms (saw the forecast!!!), not looking forward to the later afternoon (but maybe we are going to be lucky??) :&>

Heavy rain and strong winds here early morning in Devon. Now, breezy and sunny(1p.m.) but doesn't look as though it will last.

Pelting down with hail and very windy here. But the BBC weatherman just told me the rain had passed Mid-Wales by now so I guess I must be seeing things. We don't have the luxury of central heating here so my little one has insisted on wearing her bobble hat all day and a while ago took herself willingly for a nap - I think it was just to get warm!

Severe storm force winds and lashing rain here in Donegal in NW Ireland... really terrible.
Trees down, phone line gone, I have 10KVA stand-by generator ready to go in case the electricity fails.
I detest these months in this part of the northern hemisphere.

Crazy weather here, one minute its dry, next its huge hailstones, within minutes its stopped and the sun is shining.  That was yesterday, today its just drizzle, very warm though, about 60F.

Here in North Yorkshire exceptionally strong winds and horiziontal rain yesterday from the east, tarpaulin ripped off straw stack, fields bogging ankle deep in mud, electric off for a short time. Today winds are still stong but from south and at least its dry, six very pregnant heifers escaped from our neighbours 2 miles away and ended up in the lane next to us so spent an hour before coming to work rounding them up. My cheeks are glowing. Pigs have all gone back to bed with doors down. Wish i could too. Tonight will be another round of extra staw to all especially the two lots of pigs still out in the paddocks. Hopefully a dry day tomorrow with the wind dropping, might manage to retrieve what is left of my tarpaulin and re-sheet my straw stack!! More heavy rain forecast here for Sunday.
