Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cow, beef cattle, pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

We have about 120 small bales made, the sheep have eaten a couple and definitely approve. Still got 6 acres to cut but can be hay or haylage or silage so not too worried as long as it’s cut before winter.

That's mine baled today; was cut on 29th July and left in bouts for the rain that followed before being spread a couple of days ago to dry.  Flipped a couple of times over the last couple of days and looking good.  Fingers crossed it cures over the next few months and will be good to feed by new year!
