Hello from South west Scotland
« on: July 28, 2020, 10:04:54 am »
Hi to everyone on here, we have just moved on to a 4 acre small holding in South West Scotland.  It is absolutely amazing with a total of 31 animals so far including ducks, ex battery hens, pygmy goats, ryeland sheep as well as a nutty german shepherd!! No doubt over the years I am gonna need a lot of advice. Can't wait to retire and e joy it full time. Oh well I'm sure the next 20 years will fly by.  oh forgot to mention the 2 horses and 2 toy ponies lol

That is a *lot* of stock for 4 acres of Scotland...

But good luck, and do shout if you need any help!

I was wondering how to put it myself but you've done it for me Sally  :D  It's also a lot of stock to take on straight from the beginning of your smallholding adventure.  Good luck and I hope you're blessed with good weather, healthy stock and plenty of energy for your new adventure
