[in the hills]

Found a recently dead pheasant in our field today.


Some feathers around the corpse. Head still intact.


Insides all gone and eaten through a very circular hole in the abdomen. A circle as big as a ladies fist and very 'neat'.


Any ideas as to which predator would do this?
