I would also recommend lambing inside as I found first year that the ewes panicked a bit and I had to chase them round the field which wasn't good for them.  The polytunnel looks best option as you can dismantle it after use.  Can't remember the company name but they were made for the purpose and around £500-700.

Which of the Dancover models is suitable as these look relatively good value?

I have 2 horse field shelters 18'x12' and I lamb in the 12'x12' using hurdles (now got the recycledplastic pens if I can work out how to put together!) and this works well.

i cannot remember the model but we got 2 very simular to this but in green it is temp we got no base to it  we shut one set of doors at one end the you can fit 2 hurdles width so 2 pens wide  bed down with straw so no drafts get in  they are very good in high winds aswell.  they got foot long spikes to hold it down  and rachet straps to make the canopy tought there are steel bands on the floor somewhere i do tend to miss these when i get the mf35 with rear loader to dig out the dung. had ours so for for about 6-7 yrs and well worth the money spent

I also would recommend the polytunnel, I am into my third year of using one.

Mine is 22m x 7m and is from McGregor Polytunnels, it is really good.

There is enough space in there for about 40 ewes and a small section for me to keep the lambing kit out of the way as well..

Cheers

they look really good, what did your one cost that was 7m x 22m?   certainly looks perfect for job if I can afford it?
