Where to source day-old chicks?
« on: April 21, 2020, 10:20:39 am »
Hello. Any suggestions for buying a dozen day-olds? Hybrid or old breed, not bothered about them being sexed necessarily.

I’m in Herts but imagine they’ll be posted.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere.

P.s. I’m not a Coronavirus convert - am experienced, just unlucky with timing!
Thanks
Oliver

Give Woodside Animal Farm a call, they’re in Slip End between Harpenden and Luton and normally have standard brown layers coming in this time of year, plus they hatched a load of special breeds a fortnight or so ago.
