weird produce selection
« on: October 20, 2010, 07:43:06 pm »
now, all these have been produced over the last few days by my ducks. All are over a year old (2 are 1, 1 is 2 and 3 are 3 years old) and experienced layers. I am a bit puzzled as we did have no such weird eggs last year in autumn! None of them are moulting or ill (as far a I know). By the way, the 2nd from the left is the "normal" size... :&>

perhaps they just fancied abit of variety?  ;)

(I'm just jealous, cos ours are too young to lay, and I imagine we'll have to wait til Spring now!)
