Hi,
I'm happy to have found this Smallholder forum & source of very useful info!
I am indeed an accidental smallholder, having moved my horse out of livery 11 years ago as he wasn't happy there & I wasn't happy with the cost. I've added 4 sheep for one of my collies to practise on, as he's very keen, & 2 mini American horses (32-34" high) to keep my horse company.
Despite all the hard work, it keeps me sane, being a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful, secluded 3 acres. Unfortunately a long way from home..

Welcome to the forum!
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
