This is my husbands favorite!.

POTATO BREAD

4 oz Mashed potato. (left over from last nights dinner)
2 oz porridge oats. (porridge is good if you have made too much)
500grms bread flour
1oz yeast ( or 1/2 pkt dried yeast)
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 Tablespoon honey
3 tablespoons powdered milk
2oz butter
Approx 1/2 pint of water  (or could be water and milk or just milk)  The amount of liquid will depend on the moisture in the potatoes and porridge

sorry gordon I forgot to put the amount of liquid needed. I have amended this now so it should be more helpful. yes you can use milk instead of milk powder, Just adjust your fluid amount accordingly.
Hope you are able to make some nice bread.
