keeping radish seeds?
« on: October 16, 2010, 12:38:03 pm »
I have found quite a few pods - is it worth keeping the seeds or are they hybrids which won't germinate? I have thrown all the empty packets away, so can't look on there ::) :&>

If the parents were F1 hybrids then perhaps the seeds will not germinate.  The way to find out is to collect them then try sprouting a few on wet blotting paper.  If none germinate then you can throw the rest out, if any do then you have successfully collected your own seed for next year.
