Hello, does anyone here keep Gotlands? We've recently acquired some gotlands ewe lambs, they are lovely, so friendly! But they seem a bit skinny compared to our Shetland lambs. Is this normal for the breed? They do have lovely fleeces so perhapse they are putting a lot of energy into that? As I understand it, it's unwise to feed them sheep pellets as it upsets their sensitive hooves? Can I feed them something else? Any suggestions please?
