Anyone going to the Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers summer school near York next month?

I have signed up for the stranded colour work knitting workshop and would love to meet other forumites during the week.

The finished summer school item.  The York cushion designed by Ann Kingstone and containing 2 colours, 3 colours, trapping and stranding, increasing and decreasing for travelling stitches, norwegian purl and cables done without a cable needle.  Featuring Yorkshire buttons.

A great week and I learnt a lot as well as making new friends.

Thank you for giving us an update Buttermilk.  I love the stranded work, very neatly done.  A worthwhile week's work.  I take it there was no-one from TAS there, who maybe missed your original post?  What are you planning for your first project?

I did not meet anyone from TAS.  My next trick is some fair isle leg warmers, pattern and wool already here.
