Large fowl hatching eggs wanted
« on: May 08, 2019, 08:01:49 am »
I am looking for some large fowl hatching eggs from a good laying strain.  I am in Oxfordshire and would prefer to collect if possible but realistically would probably need to have them posted.

I am open to different breeds as I want them for eggs and not showing.  I would like some Ancona but I know they are not common.  At the moment I have some Rhode Island Red, Cream Legbar, White Sussex, a couple of old hybrids and 2 Pekin bantams.  As you can see they are a real mix.  I don't want any more bantams hence why I asked for large fowl.

Have you tried ebay and preloved etc. Also wilsons rare breed poultry is near you. They do a great service. To be honest I struggle to find any quality ancona stock near me. Trios and pullets I mean in Hampshire
Oxford poultry? They do interesting hybrids.
