3 week old pet lambs, suddenly stopped taking milk
« on: April 03, 2019, 08:40:48 pm »
We've got 2 pet lambs, they have been having access to grass on the nicer days and then back in the shed at night.

They have ad lib, creep, hay and water. However, don't seem to be eating the creep or hay.

They had been taking their milk from the bottles fine, up until yesterday. I couldnt get them to take a bottle at all yesterday.

Today I have managed with some persuasion to get milk into one of them, though a lot less than usual. The other I have been struggling with.

They don't appear bloated. Have given them a soapy wayer enema, just in case they were constipated.

It's like they are interested in the bottle, but don't want to suck any more.
