I can tell the difference between a courgette and a aubergine but not all these weeds/flowers

These sprouted up around some building materials

Tick.

An interesting thing:  there are red and pink and white campions.  But the "red" variety flowers are actually pink. The white ones are, of course, white.  A cross between the two produces a pink campion, which, I don't doubt, is also pink!  I've no idea how pink pink campions might be and I imagine their pinkness will vary.  I seem to think there is a way of differentiating between "red" and "pink", but I can't recall right now.

In my experience, the white ones don't appear that often, but I imagine they are still quite prolific seed producers and will, given opportunity, become an unwelcome weed (which could well end up being, umm, pink!).

Thanks everyone. I hope the bees like them at the moment they are going nuts for the blackberry bush. It is by far their favourite. :bee:
