Electric Netting

We are looking into options for moveable goat fencing. All our fields are perimeter fenced with stock netting for the sheep, but obviously this won't work for goats. Previously we kept two boer weathers in the normal sheep electric netting which worked great, after one shock they respected it completely. However I've since read that electric netting can be disastrous with goats, and as this will be used to contain kids as well I was wondering if the electric chicken netting would be better as it has smaller holes so the goats would be less likely to get tangled?

Wouldnt use electric netting its asking for trouble seen one badly tangled at a mates  was horrible
I use just wires on plastic posts never had any problems only one buck jumping it.
Also have stock fencing never had any issues with them getting out.
Boers are not as bad as some other breeds at  getting out

Yes, the boers we had were easy to keep in, these ones are AN's though.

Don't use poultry netting.  I had a section partitioned off for ducks  - no electric - a goat got really tangled in it.Just the stock netting would probably be ok but I've got a couple of electric wires offset from stock netting in a couple of places, where the posts are rotten and where it's very close into the garden hedge.  works well.I also have a small solar panel keeping the batteries charged so I don't have to keep moving heavy batteries.

Right, will use stock fence combined with electric. Thanks for your advice!
