5 year old jenny mule, 12.2hh. She has been professionally schooled and is suitable, with more training, for ride or drive. Sadly for sale due to my knee injury, Jenny is lovely natured and very intelligent. At present she guards my sheep and will not allow strange dogs anywhere near. In the States apparently a guard mule will kill a cougar, so wouldn't think a fox would stand much chance. A useful companion for horses, you can take her along on a lead rein if your horse doesn't like going out alone. Mules are very calm. SO..... try something different... come and see her and you'll fall in love. Wanting @ £700 for her, but prepared to haggle to right home.

Angela - thanks for your message, but don't know how to reply apart from the forum.
I'm sure Jenny would be ideal for you. She would certainly take care of your sheep. She watched all our lambs being born this year. They were then moved and Jenny spent summer with our donkeys. But recently I put them all together again on clean grazing. But I'd forgotten how protective she is with the sheep as she even chased my sheepdog (whom she knows well) when he gathered the lambs. She then watched carefully while I checked them over. I can't see any strange dogs being allowed near your sheep with her around.
I don't think she'd have any problem pulling a chariot. She has been bitted and long reined and responded very well. She's had a saddle on, but no rider; she's been taught stable manners and is good with the farrier.
