Public liability insurance level

If you smallholding insurance or even just separate public liability insurance, what level of cover do you have? I see a lot at 2 million - is this the norm?

That's standard these days... if you have livestock get out and cause a car crash, it doesn't take long for the cost of a couple of cars, damages claims and legal fees to get to that point.

I'm a coal merchant and was asked if I wanted 2 3 or 5 million cover for public liability.
