corn for fattening?

we now have alot of cockerels in seprate pens with eating in mind, is corn good for fattening them up
or is there something else they need.

Corn could be good. It might also depend on what breed you are fattening up.

Quick example. I've 3 week old isa brown cross RIR boys on a chick crumb/rolled corn mash... and they are structurally not much bigger than the girls but are definitely plumper. Maybe it's all fat & not meat, I'll find out sometime.
