Do you tan them yourself, or do they get sent off somewhere? I don't want one, I'm just interested and nosy!

No I don't do it myself.  I do all the salting for a couple of weeks beforehand in order to get all the fluid drained out and then send them to a place in Hereford.     I've been tempted to cut one up and make a Gillet.......but haven't had the nerve yet  ::)
