Hi

We have a few acres in Aberdeenshire with a few chickens, ducks & sheep to keep us busy, (and almost forgot 3 teenage children)
probably too busy to be a regular contributor of this forum!
However, I have never been a member of facebook or similar sites although our kids say I lots of 'old folk' like me are members
but I enjoy reading posts on TAS forum because they are often similar to what is happening with our animals, etc

When I saw Rosemary with her coloured ryeland in the sales ring at Thainstone at the start of September
I thought I should really join TAS forum but only got around to it this morning because it is drizzling & not the best weather
to do all the little outdoor jobs that really need doing, well that's my excuse  ;)

That's where we are too, just north of Mintlaw.

I am presuming from your log-in name that you must be slightly to the west of Mintlaw!

I always give my kids a lecture about giving out too much info when they on websites and here I am, a few mins online & telling all :D

I know what you mean - I guess I think any unwelcome visitors have to get past the VERY LARGE AND HAIRY PROTECTIVE GERMAN SHEPHERD first!!!

I didn't know that, Karen?  My friends Les & Pat Dempster live there.

Hiya!  I'm in Wales - sheep and chickens here, along with 2 kids (of the human variety), 2 cats, a sheepdog (who doesn't round sheep up) and a couple of goldfish.  Welcome to the site.
