They do have shelter.  And they are just Texel crosses ....  Your bog standard breed I guess?  I didn't mean to get them...a farmer next to our field had them.  Two were bottle fed and he was more than happy to let me take over that job...and then anothers mother died (I found her dead) so that one joined the other two.  And you know...I just love them so I had to have them!

The only time my ewes get regularly fed nuts they are coming up to lambing or have lambs at foot, so other than a handful between them once a week to keep them tame, your sheep shouldn’t need anything. If you shout to them as you rattle the bucket they will get used to coming to call as well.
