Help choosing a used compact tractor please
« on: September 04, 2018, 03:51:57 pm »
Hi, I’m a bit of a newby and any advice would be appreciated. Basically, I have a 7.25 acre small holding and have been told that it would be wise to use a contractor at first, but I’ve got a budget to buy a used compact tractor and am looking at these two models with finishing mowers:
https://www.becksidemachinery.co.uk/product-page/b4200d-kubota-compact-tractor-compact-tractors-for-sale-uk
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/iseki-4-w-d-compact-tractor-and-4-ft-finishing-mower/123318863207?hash=item1cb6608567:g:VeQAAOSwvF1bd8N7
Apart from saving myself a grand with the Iseki, I’ve been told that Kubota have reliability. Is it worth shelling out extra money for a Kubota, or do I simply go with the cheaper option if it does the same job?

Bought mine recently from Beckside Machinery. Even rang me back on a bank holiday Sunday when he was obviously with his family. Would recommend him
