Gazpacho, yum yum. I have it every summer. Husband says it's never hot enough to have cold soup but I love.

I love Nigel Slaters food programmes, he makes it all look so easy and he makes food he really loves eating :)  Think i ll start investing in some of his books :)

He has played a great part in this nation's culinary renaissance.

His first self-penned cookbook, Real Fast Food, is an absolute classic. Keep your eye out for it in charity shops, small red paperback.

Kitchen Diaries is a luxuriant volume, and great for seasonal ideas.

Made some Gazpacho for tea its in the fridge cooling and the cue is in the fridge as well. Just going to make sure theres some ice cubes and we will be ready.Been on Rabbit food a month now forgot what good roast beef tastes like.I have told HER I'm Pot Roasting a piece of beef Saturday to have a cold roast beef salad on Sunday.I am thinking if I make a couple of Nigels burgers and leave them overnight to go cold and then his marrow salad I will report if its worth doing I think I will stuff the burger with a piece of stilton about as big as an oxo cube before I fry them.Must make a loaf as well It demands a slice of new bread don't you think?I shall make a white loaf with a large handfull of rolled oats in the dough for a change. :D :farmer:

I'm a bit queer like that I don't care what he looks like so long as he knows what he is talking about and he does. It's a bit like dining in the White Hart Silver service and all the trimmings as I told a chap I don't eat the silver.I want good food well prepared on a clean plate as is the knife fork and spoon. What do you think to the hairy bikers then. ??? :D :farmer:

They're ok!  Slater looks like Max Headroom with his 80's quiff ...
