I have been contacted by a Japanese company which is trying to source certain breeds of fleece, in Central/Southern Scotland and Cumbria.  They will be at the Highland Show and Woolfest, or will collect good quality fleece from your farm.  It's Ananda Co Ltd - they say The Woolclip knows them well so you can check with them if the company is up to scratch.

They are now only looking for Boreray and Soay fleece, probably about 5 fleeces of each. I've no idea what they will pay, but I do know they sell them on for a fair bit back in Japan. They will only be looking for a top quality product.
