First egg
« on: March 24, 2016, 05:47:54 pm »
Yesterday I got my first goose egg from my pair of Chinese geese. This is the first season she is laying but from reading other posts many people have had geese eggs from early Feb. ???
Should this be a concern or is it normal for the first egg to be so late?

I'm still waiting for mine to start laying again!  Either they're on strike or hiding the darned things especially well this year!

Goose eggs are sublime!  :yum:

Sure they aren't hiding them? They cover them very well and it can be hard to locate them if they've chosen their own nest!

Having said that, mine often seem to lay one each and then stop for a while before producing a downright glut!
