Finding a shearer
« on: March 21, 2015, 04:45:53 pm »
It's my first spring of sheep ownership and obviously the ewes (all 4 of them) will need shearing in the near future. Just wondering how to go about finding a shearer who will be happy to come for just a handful of sheep. If anyone has the details of a shearer(s) who covers the NE Surrey area I would be all to happy to hear from you!

Thanks

Thankyou both. I am half thinking of giving it a go with handshears but need a back up plan if it goes disastrously wrong  :innocent:
