Renting out land
« on: February 19, 2016, 06:26:33 pm »
Hi, odd question, we have a couple of fields that I'm not going to be able to use of a year or so as the house is taking up all my time (and a full time job for now).

Local farmer wants to graze some sheep on it, and thats fine with me, but is there any legal issue I need to worry about, am I setting up a future "custom and practice" problem, or even a risk of ownership?

thanks everyone for your help

Set up a grazing license with a one month break so do not set up a tenancy, this means they are only entitled to the crop ie grass.
